Prof. Wolfram Burgard elevated to IEEE Fellow

Prof. Wofram Burgard (Autonomous Intelligent Systems) has been elevated by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) to IEEE Fellow, for his "contributions to mobile robot navigation and simultaneous localization and mapping". IEEE Fellow is a distinction reserved for select IEEE members whose extraordinary accomplishments in any of the IEEE fields of interest are deemed fitting of this prestigious grade elevation.
