Outstanding students honoured

Faculty of Engineering awards scholarships to talented minds on campus

On 26 January 2024, the Christoph Rüchardt Scholarship certificates were presented to students Alexandra Buss and Roman Brendler.

The certificates were presented by the 2nd Chairman of the Association of Friends of the University of Freiburg, Prof. Dr. Hans Spada, and the Faculty Manager of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Rainer Giersiepen.

The two scholarship holders were selected from a total of 28 applications on the basis of their outstanding achievements in their undergraduate studies as well as extra-curricular and volunteer activities. They will now receive a scholarship of 200 euros per month for one year.
