New Council for Doctoral Candidates established
A new Council for Doctoral Candidates has been established at the Faculty of Engineering. The council represents the interests of doctoral candidates at the faculty and serves as a contact point for questions, concerns and ideas related to the doctoral phase.
The Council currently consists of the following speakers:
- Yara Baslan (IMTEK BMT)
- Margherita Chino (INATECH RTS)
- Alina Kohler (IMTEK BMT)
- Fadoua Massaoudy (INATECH MLS)
- Max Mosig (INATECH EEH)

The Council’s tasks and objectives include:
- Representing the interests of doctoral candidates in various university committees (including the General Academic Assembly (GAA), University Council and Faculty Council)
- Organizing networking and socializing events
- Providing statements on current topics, such as the new Doctoral Examination Regulations
- Initiating opportunities for non-enrolled doctoral candidates to participate in university politics
- Offering support and being available as a contact point for questions, concerns and issues related to the doctoral phase
Doctoral candidates at the Faculty of Engineering are invited to get in touch with the Council and share their topics, ideas or concerns.
