Dr. Can Dincer joins Biosensors and Bioelectronics as an Associate Editor

Dr. Can Dincer joins the editorial team of Biosensors and Bioelectronics from September 2019. As an Associate Editor of B&B, he will handle manuscripts from submission, through peer review to the final decision. In addition to the manuscript handling, Dr. Dincer will be an instrumental part of the team in ensuring growth of the journal and its continued success.

Biosensors and Bioelectronics is a leading journal in the field of sensors and analytical chemistry and is becoming more and more popular in the research community. With an impact factor of 9.518 (Clarivate Analytics, 2019) the journal is in the top quartile of the biophysics, biotechnology & applied microbiology, analytical chemistry, electrochemistry and nanoscience categories. The journal has been steadily growing in the number of submissions and published articles as well as the impact factor over the last years. In 2018, around 4,300 submissions are received and about 800 articles are accepted for publication each year (acceptance rate of ~18%). Since the end of last year, a mirror journal for B&B also exists: Biosensors and Bioelectronics: X (BIOSX) which offers authors a gold open access route for their research.
