Digital Health Research Night 2025
On July 2, 2025, the Digital Health Research Night took place at the Faculty of Engineering at University of Freiburg – and it was a great success. More than 100 researchers and students came together to exchange ideas on the future of digital health research and discover exciting projects.
A highlight of the evening was the inspiring keynote by Dr. Hugo Herrero on “Multidimensional Information and Model Management System-of-Systems (MIMMS) for Next-Generation Hospital Information Systems.” Prof. Dr. Oliver Amft moderated the event and guided the audience through the program, including the poster pitch session, where participants presented their current research in concise, engaging talks.
Participating groups included representatives from various faculties: the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Biology, the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy, and many more.
The event offered an excellent platform to discover recent developments and network with leading experts from science, technology, and healthcare.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to making this evening such a success!
