EUR 3 million for Cytena GmbH
Two private investors and High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) are convinced of single-cell isolation technology developed by the IMTEK-Spin-off.

Cytena GmbH was founded in 2014 by Dr. Peter Koltay, Scientist at IMTEK-Laboratory for MEMS Applications, Dr. André Groß und Dr. Jonas Schöndube (former scientists at the lab) and Benjamin Steimle. The Cytena team has developed patented single-cell printerTM technology, which allows the isolation of single cells in a documented, gentle and sterile process. Most of the top ten pharmaceutical companies already use Cytena's single-cell printers to produce clonal cell lines for manufacturing antibodies. Read more
